Kamp BETA is the introduction camp for the new students of the acadmies ALST and ATIx of Avans Hogeschool Breda. The camp is organized by Avans University of Applied Sciences Breda students on behalf of Avans University of Applied Sciences. An organisation was established from December 2022 and we started organizing the camp. We ensure that your student days in Breda get off to a flying start.
Kamp BETA
Kamp BETA takes place from 21 to 25 August 2023 in and around Breda. During the camp, Avans Hogeschool Breda, the student associations in Breda, new students, student life and the city of Breda and its surroundings are introduced. This is done through various activities and parties.
Camp location
The location of the introductioncamp is Breepark in Breda. We will sleep in the eventhall. Each intro will bring their own sleeping gear (air mattress, sleeping bag and pillow). The rest of the things you need to bring with you as an intro are in the packing list. This will appear on the site shortly. If you are already registered, this will also be emailed to you.

Sign up and payment
Do you want to join an introduction camp? Then don’t wait any longer and register via the registration button at the top right of the menu bar. Enter your own details here and you will receive an email from us confirming your registration. We will then send you a link via email with which you can pay via our secure payment system. The information you enter in the form is only visible to the camp staff. The costs for Kamp BETA are €125 (excl. service costs of €0.36). Note: If you have signed up for Kamp BETA, you are entering into a payment obligation. From that moment on, it is no longer possible to unsubscribe and you are therefore obliged to pay.
Supervision/safety
Safety is a top priority during Kamp BETA. All guests are divided into groups of about 10 students. Each group has a mom or dad who will accompany the group throughout the week. In addition, there is at least 1 first aid person present at all times who can provide first aid in the event of an accident. The ten-strong camp staff will manage the camp throughout the week and supervise the intros, but also the employees and moms/dads.
